Integrating With Vitalograph - Automated Spirometry Results

Assumptions

Spirotrac software (version 1.18 or later) is installed and confirmed as operational on the same PC from which Clinic-Assist is to be accessed and you are competent in its use.

Note: If you encounter issues with Spirotrac, please contact Vitalograph support for further assistance

Log in to the ‘Clinic-Assist Vitalograph Communicator’ if you haven’t already done so.

Create an appointment using the ‘Spirotrac Spirometry’ product. 

When opened and viewed (using the screening tab), you will be presented with the ‘Spiro Advanced’ form which includes the ‘Link to Spriotrac’ button

This form can be used to manually enter data about your patient but for Spirotrac integration, select the ‘Link to Spirotrac’ button.  If successful, green and black notifications will be displayed.

 

At this point, the patient record in Clinic-Assist has established a connection with Spirotrac. 

In Spirotrac, refresh subjects (View / Subject View / Refresh Subjects) to be presented with a new entry in your subject list with the date of birth of your patient, appended with a lowercase ‘e’.

 

Complete the Spiro session for this patient and on completion, select the Return EMR option and return ‘Return Items’ for the relevant date.

The ‘Spirotrac Spirometry’ form within Clinic-Assist will auto complete with the relevant data pulled from ‘Spirotrac’

The patient file will also automatically receive the Spirotrac results report as a PDF. Simply click ‘Download’ to open.
